The winners of the 2024 Stockholm International Film Festival

 On November 15, the Stockholm International Film Festival awards ceremony took place at Soho House. The film "Nickel Boys" by director RaMell Ross won the Bronze Horse for Best Film.

The award for best director was to Matthew Rankin for the film "Universal Language", Best Cinematography to Martin Gschlacht for "The Devil's Bath", Best Screenplay to Alonso Ruispalacíos for the film "La Cocina". Malou Khébizi was the Best Actress for her rol in the film "Wild Diamond" and the Best Actor of the festival; Izaac Wang for his film role in the film "Dídi".

The jury’s motivation for Best Film to Nickel Boys by RaMell Ross reads:

“A masterful and impactful film that, through its choice of perspective, immerses us in the character’s harrowing journey into the dark history of racism and segregation in the United States. At the same time, it presents a moving and powerful story of friendship and courage, standing tall even in the face of darkness. A film that innovatively explores the full spectrum of cinematic expression, resonating deeply and bridging the past with the present.”

Igår kväll var det galapremiär av dokumentärfilm " Alexandra - Syns vi inte så finns vi inte"  av regissör Olivia Kastebring . En kreativt berättad dokumentär om en kvinnas liv, en Stockholmsikon.   Under premiären deltog Alexandra Charles, regissör Olivia Kastebring, Producent Folke Ryden och medverkande i filmen.   Premiären var på bio Skandia i Stockholm och den var arrangerad av TriArt film och Erwik Communication.   Alexander Erwik Det var en fantastisk kväll och mänga gäster kom till premiären. Filmen har premiär på bio den 31 oktober. En mycket bra dokumentär. Red Carpet : The 61st edition of the Guldbagge Awards.

The Guldbagge Awards 2026 were held on January 19 at Cirkus in Stockholm. The gala evening was attended by directors, actors, actresses, people from film industry  and guests from Swedish society.  The awards recognized actors, directors and people who worked with movies. The nominees are in various categories for their film contributions during 2025. This was the 61st edition of the Guldbagge Awards. The Guldbagge Awards red carpet dazzled with glamorous and creative dresses. This gala is the most important event of the early year, and guests don't miss the opportunity to show off their best outfits on this night celebrating the Swedish film industry. The red carpet was organized by Erwik Communication. Stockholm Pride bjöd till en historisk galakväll där de uppmärksammade de 11 första personerna som har blivit valda i världens första Rainbow Hall of Fame. Några av dem deltog på galan. Artisten Therésa Neaime uppträde under galan.  De personerna som blev uppmärksammade under kvällen har gjort avgörande insatser för hbtq-personers rättigheter och frihet.
